She's Here

Maryn Elizabeth Leavitt was born on August 4, 2010 she weighs 7lbs 12oz and was 19" long.
Her birth story is short and sweet. We went to the hospital to do a stress test because I wasn't feeling her move as much as normal, and the Dr. said that her heart beat was dropping and spiking every now and then and they couldn't get a good base line so he was worried that there might be some pressure on the cord stressing her out. So we decided to induce right then. I got changed and went to my room had an epidural, pushed twice and she was born. Perfectly healthy. The cord was around her neck but not tight.

I have some pics but they are still on my phone. I must admit I am too tired to put them on the computer or even take any good ones. Maybe next week. It is taking some adjusting to get used to having two little ones at home and I am terrified for Cason to go back to school, but I guess we'll just have to suck it up and get used to it.

So glad the delivery went smoothly! I'll bet she's adorable. Good luck when Cason goes back, it's overwhelming at first but you'll get the hang of it!

Congrats! I was totally terrified (may have cried) when kip went back to work also but it wasn't as scary as I thought it would be. You'll be surprised how quickly you get the hang of it!
