Cookie Bouquet

When we got home from the hospital we had balloons and flowers, my mother in law sent us a cookie bouquet for the new baby and the cookies where really yummy I ate like three of them the first day

Here are just a couple pics of Maryn in the hospital and taking her home. Cale has adjusted to having her here pretty well. He doesn't try to hurt her or anything. He will give her his blankie if she is crying. He also likes to check on her and shhhes me and says baby sleeping. I want to get some professional pics of the both of them taken soon but I really don't think Cale will sit still for it. we will have to see in the mean time here are some from my crappy iphone.

Maryn Elizabeth Leavitt was born on August 4, 2010 she weighs 7lbs 12oz and was 19" long.
Her birth story is short and sweet. We went to the hospital to do a stress test because I wasn't feeling her move as much as normal, and the Dr. said that her heart beat was dropping and spiking every now and then and they couldn't get a good base line so he was worried that there might be some pressure on the cord stressing her out. So we decided to induce right then. I got changed and went to my room had an epidural, pushed twice and she was born. Perfectly healthy. The cord was around her neck but not tight.

I have some pics but they are still on my phone. I must admit I am too tired to put them on the computer or even take any good ones. Maybe next week. It is taking some adjusting to get used to having two little ones at home and I am terrified for Cason to go back to school, but I guess we'll just have to suck it up and get used to it.
