Maryn's perfectly pink party

For Maryn's birthday we decided to have an all pink party. All the treats were pink and everyone that came had to wear pink. All the presents were wrapped in pink.It was very PINK. I was a little sad she had zero interest in her cupcake so I didn't get a pic of her with a messy face but she had a good time with her new toys and her brother had fun "helping" her open them. Happy birthday maryn! After we put the birthday girl to bed. The grown ups played minute to win it games. too funny!

Peach festival

So every year they have a peach festival out by Queen Creek and we decided to go this year pick peaches and try the peach cinnamon rolls and enjoy our peachy day. Well when we got there it was a little HOT! we didn't last 2 hours but Cale rode the train and we bought some peachy treats. We had a good time but after we were all sweaty grouchy messes. We will have to get up earlier next year :)

Dads root-beer tasting party

For my dads birthday this year we bought a bunch of different root-beers and had a taste test. Then voted on the ones we liked the best, worst, sweetest, ect. Then we had root-beer cupcakes I think we are going to make that an annual event. There are some nasty root-beers out there.

SO I haven't posted in forever and I am sure that no one even looks at this anymore but I wanted to document some of the things we have been doing. starting with our 4th of July BBQ. I was 117 that day especially hot here in AZ and so we moved our party inside. We had a hot dog bar and some sides. It was a lot of fun and the kids had a blast. We moved all the furniture out of Cales room and brought all the outside toys inside so the kids could play.

Small break and projects

So Cason has had a coupe weeks off of school between spring and summer session and in this time we have tried to fit a lot in. We went through all of our junk and I have been throwing everything away (ever get in those moods?) ORGANIZING ORGANIZING ORGANIZING, started a lot of projects (hopefully we finish them before the full blown fall session starts) both cason and I have ADD problems so we work on a project until we get board and then start a new one leaving things unfinished until I get in the mood and finish them. We also spent a lot of time with the kids. We went to an outdoor movie night at the baseball stadium by our house, went swimming almost everyday and just played and played. It is so fun to see them with their dad. He has been gone so much lately for school and they have missed each other.
here are few things we started note these are not pics of my house (i wish) just where i got some ideas.

I have been labeling and organizing the kids toys and clothes trying to get things looking like this..Acutually almost done with this I just need a few more baskets

We need to paint and put up the molding in the bathrooms around the mirror. this was super cheap and looks so nice when finished

This pantry looks so nice and neat I love it. My pantry is teeny but I am working on getting everything into containers and finding labels for them. I cleaned out all the old food and stuff shoved in the panty. its amazing how much room we have now!

I found this pic and fell in love with the colors. I painted an accent wall in my bedroom this blueish color and have fabric for a headboard similar to this. I just have to get the batting and put it together but I am so excited for this one!

these bookshelves are another easy and cheap project I am excited about my shelves are black and I spray painted all the baskets in them white and bought new white accessories for them I just need to find the right paper for the back. I can;t decide between a light blue and white or black and white.

well when I finish these projects I will post some real pics. hopefully soon. Until then I am keeping m eye out for cheap baskets, and a few other things.

This Easter was so fun and jam packed with fun activities. Friday we did a BBQ and egg hunt at the park and the kids played and played I don't think Cale came to talk to me at all the whole time we were there. The weather was perfect and Maryn fell asleep in my arms, it was very fun. Saturday morning I took Cale to a pancake breakfast and egg hunt with my parents( Maryn stayed home to have a nap and Cason stayed home to study :( ) Saturday afternoon we went to the Surprise Eggstravaganza where the had a bunch of candy and plastic eggs on two of the spring training fields and let the kids go by age group onto the field and pick the place clean. I don't think I have ever seen candy picked up faster. They also had face painting food and a lot of jumpy houses. Later that day we had a nap then colored eggs. Sunday we went to my parents for dinner and decorated cookies. The kids were both asleep by 7:00 that night and Cale was a little sun burned but It was a lot of fun.

Well I feel like all I write about are my kids, but thats what I do and who I am with 90% of the time. Most of the time they are easy to be with but sometimes I have seriously considered selling them on Craigs List. SERIOUSLY! Today was an especially warm day so I decided to get out our little blow up pool and play outside. That lasted about an hour and 45min of it was me taking toys away from Cale because he was using them to dump water on his poor sister.

I have been trying a new (kinda new) thing with them limiting TV time and doing more activities before we are stuck inside most of the day because of the heat. They weren't watching that much before but I felt like it was too much (how much is too much?)
And so far the table and tile has crayon all over it. Every toy bin is dumped out and my house is totally trashed (I'll pick it up later there's no sense in doing it now) The morning trip to the park ended in a full out tantrum, and playing with the little water pirate ship outside consisted of cale drenching me with the hose and laughing hysterically then squirting the screen door getting water all over the house.

Needless to say I haven't showered today or really sat down, except to write this post, and Im not trying to write about how terrible my kids are (cause they're not there pretty good most of the time) I am just writing because everyone has THOSE DAYS and today was one of mine. A lot of times on blogs people write or post about all the positive things and happy times,which is good, you don't want to dwell on the bad, but I think its good to let people know that some days just suck and sometimes kids are just hard!

PS I am looking for good ideas of things to do inside with little ones

Happy Valentines Day

This Valentines day was a little different. Usually I am all about holidays and do lots of stuff, but valentines day totally snuck up on my this year. We got the kids a treat and a couple little toys but we didn't make any cookies or do any crafts or anything which makes me sad but I guess their still little and won't really remember how bunk it was.

We did eat a lot of candy and had a heart shaped pizza. I know Cale enjoyed his treats and Maryn enjoyed her toys.

Maryn is growing so fast she is tall and thin for her hight but heavy for her age. She laughs and coos all the time. Shes constantly making noises and laughing at Cale. Shes such a happy baby now that shes a little older and grown out of that awful colicky stage. She eats a little rice and oatmeal but is still learning to eat from a spoon, she spits most of it back out. She sleeps about 12hours at night waking up once sometimes twice, but shes so fun and always makes me smile. I love watching Cale and her play, and I hope he is still nice to her when they grow a little older.

I can't believe Cale is two. We celebrated with a BBQ, fire works, set up his little jumpy house, and made tie die cupcakes. He played and played with his friend william and had a blast. I am pretty sure he had a good day.

He is learning new words every day. He calls me Em a lot of the time and he loves to make Maryn laugh.
He also loves to eat pancakes and strawberries and drink milk. (those are the things he asks for the most) He's growing and learning so fast its so fun to see things through his eyes.

Merry Christmas

This Christmas was a fun one. We stayed in Arizona, spent Christmas eve at my parents, had a fabulous dinner ad spent Christmas morning at home.
When Cale woke up at 7 he wanted us to come into his room to play and started throwing a fit when we tried to get him to come see what santa had left him. When he finally did the first thing he saw was his hot wheels and wanted nothing to do with anything else. He eventually opened his presents and Maryn woke up later, in time for Cale to enjoy her toys as well. It was so cute to see his face light up when he opened his gifts and said cool or wow. Its defiantly more fun to be on this side of Christmas

Thanksgiving

I only took a few pics of Thanksgiving because I was kind of a disaster Cale didn't have a nap and maryn was sick so they we super fun that day.
we started the day with a sort hike in the White Tanks and watched Cale pick up his collection of rocks and sticks then we went to my parents ate watched football and cooked.Cason deep fried a turkey in my parents backyard with my dad and brother. It turned out fabulous and he wants to do it every year.

Later I let Cale hand some candy canes on the tree before we decorated it. He was very specific about where he put them.

The Annual Surprise Party

This past weekend we went to the annual Surprise party the city puts on and this year has been so fun. On Thursday the had cookies with Santa. (Actually the line for santa was SO long and Cale probably wouldn't sit on his lap anyway let alone wait in line so we walked across the street and over to the park and played for a while) Friday was a hot air balloon glow, sky divers, fireworks, and yummy fair food and rides. Saturday is an all day extravaganza with elephant camel and pony rides. they also have bounce houses, train rides, face painting, and a classic car show. Lots of fun. I took the kids by myself on Saturday so we didn't get to stay as long as I would have liked but we had an awesome weekend and will defiantly be attending next year.

PS that is NOT cason in the leather jacket, just wanted to make that clear.

This last weekend we took Maryn and Cale to this huge pumpkin patch called Schnepf Farms. We had been there before Cale was born so this year it was a lot more fun. They had a road rally ride where you ride these bikes around a trail, a huge corn maze, bands, pig races, petting zoo, little carnival rides, and of corse pumpkins. It even got cold at night which is a big deal for us. We had a blast. I love the halloween season!

Maryn Elizabeth Leavitt was born on August 4, 2010 she weighs 7lbs 12oz and was 19" long.
Her birth story is short and sweet. We went to the hospital to do a stress test because I wasn't feeling her move as much as normal, and the Dr. said that her heart beat was dropping and spiking every now and then and they couldn't get a good base line so he was worried that there might be some pressure on the cord stressing her out. So we decided to induce right then. I got changed and went to my room had an epidural, pushed twice and she was born. Perfectly healthy. The cord was around her neck but not tight.

I have some pics but they are still on my phone. I must admit I am too tired to put them on the computer or even take any good ones. Maybe next week. It is taking some adjusting to get used to having two little ones at home and I am terrified for Cason to go back to school, but I guess we'll just have to suck it up and get used to it.

So the kids's room is almost done I took some pics today and decided to post what I have.

I was at the Dr. last week and they did an ultrasound and the baby is perfectly normal as far as weight. They don't think she will be as big as Cale was but you never know. So we have my induction date for the 6th of August unless she decides to come sooner. He also said I was already 2cm and 50% effaced, but I was like that with Cale for like 2 weeks so I am pretty sure she will be here on the 6th. We are so excited to meet her, and get her home to join our family.

Baby update

I went to the doctor on thursday and he was telling me that my baby is measuring 2 weeks too small so we need to do an ultra sound and check all her measurements to make sure she is growing the way she is supposed to be. I have been having a lot of contractions as well so he doesn't want me to go into labor if shes not big enough ( I won't go into labor though the doctor said I was very soft but not dialated so we will do an ultra sound next week and see how things are. I am a little nervous since Cale was such an easy pregnancy and delivery I just expected this one to be the same and I was SO wrong.

Cale, however, is more fun than ever. He climbs on EVERYTHING and falls off of everything too. He walks around pretending to be on the phone and saying Hi and um and I don't know. He says so many words now its so funny. He is also sleeping in his toddler bed. He does ok in it. He still falls out quite a bit. We found him sleeping on the floor last night and he still wakes up a couple times a night, but I think hes getting used to it. He also wakes up so early. sleeping was never his thing.

Cason and I are just trying to finish up some little projects on the house, finish decorating the kids rooms, organize our garage in this stupid heat, and get all the baby stuff set up clean and stuff were about ready. Cason sneaks golf in once a week and some bike rides, and I sneaks some naps.

My mom sister and I all went to see In The Heights a the Gammage theater. I had only heard about it but had no idea of the story. It was so so good. The music was upbeat and fun I would defiantly recommend it.

Date Night at the Hospital

So we went to Las Vegas this last week with plans to stay for a couple weeks. When we got there Cale got sick with a fever and runny nose, Cason got food poisoning, and I had some pain in my lower back. People started to feel better and I just thought I was having some back pain like pregnant women do and ignored it. The next day my pain was defiantly in my right kidney and excruciating. I called my Dr. to see what was up and he said he needed to see me right away the pain could send me into labor.

So we threw everything in the car and drove home. Met my mom at the hospital she took Cale and we went to see the Dr. They hooked me up to monitor and the baby was fine. I was having cramps but nothing serious. The did some blood work and decided that it was a kidney stone and infection so I was admitted and pumped full of antibiotics, pain killers, and fluids. For 24 hours.

Cason came by with my dinner and we had a little date night in my room. I sent him home to sleep. The drugs they gave me totally knocked me out so there was no use in him staying. The next day we monitored the baby some more and she was moving well and looking good so they said I could go home if I promised to stay in bed, take my medicine, and drink lots of water.

I have to be on an antibiotic until the baby is born and the Dr. also said that my kidneys might not be feeling normal until the baby is born. So far I have been feeling a lot better.

Thanks Cason for taking such god care of two babies and the house. Also thanks to my mom who takes cale for a while so we can have a little break.

Car seat cover

I got my new car seat cover yesterday and I am so excited about it. Cale has one on his car seat and it has come in handy. He's thrown up in the car a couple of times now driving home from vegas and it ha been so nice to just pull over take the cover off and put it in a bag. It also is great for crumbs and just keeping his car seat nice. I also wanted to girly up the infant car seat since it was a little manly

So Cason finished school o monday ( Woo hoo) and this week with him home has been so fun. We went to the mall and stopped by build a bear. I know Cale is a little young to truly appreciate the whole experience but we found an outfit that matched his exactly and so we had to do it. He really had a ball.

Cale also completed swimming lessons. He can now blow bubbles and kick his legs. We are so proud. For there little graduation they let the parents take them down the water slide a few times. I was SO glad it was my turn to take him that day he loved the water slide and he put his hands in the air and said wee wee the whole time. so cute.

The First Annual Stadium Village Food Festival

So we found an ad for this food festival they were holding at these new condos by our house, and it was free so we decided to go. We had a blast. Cale and I shared a snow cone, played some games and got his face pained. Then we went to sample the yummy food. I was melting like a Popsicle the whole time but it was worth it. Cale was just in heaven with all the kids running around and all the people working there giving him toys and cookies.

Hangin Out

Lately Cale and I have been hangin out having a good time while Cason studies. We like to visit the library, park, zoo, and he will start swimming lessons next week. (I think I am more excited than he is)

Quick Cale update.
Cale weighs in at 23lbs 33" tall and loves to run run run and he hates to wear clothes. (hmm reminds me of someone when they were little) He doesn't really eat that much which worries me a little, but I can't force him to eat. He loves milk, yogurt, and goldfish crackers. He can tell you what a cow, sheep, and snake say, and he says car and truck. He is learning so much so fast it is so cool to see him get so excited about things. He just the happiest kid.

Quick Emily update
So far this pregnancy has been a lot worse than the first one. It's not even that bad I know people have it a lot worse than me, but I have heart burn like no other, can't sleep yet always wiped out. Just all the little things that usually don't come until later for me are here and super fun!

Hes at school ALL the time from like 9am 9pm or later. Only this week and then finals and then done :)

The bedroom

Ok its official, Cason you win, the kids are sharing a room. I guess the baby will sleep ini our room or the office for a few months and then will share with cale. we ordered the bedding and just need to get a toddler bed for cale but here is a preview of the room and their furniture is espresso not white (white looks cute thought) and the beds are smaller and one of them is a crib but again this is just a preview.

First Easter Egg Hunt

We took Cale to do an easter egg hunt with a few friends, and when we got to the park there was a huge church (not our church) party. So we joined in their fun and ate popcorn, snow cones, cotton candy and hunted easter eggs. Then after a couple hours we went to a smaller park and hid eggs over there too. Cale was so cute picking up eggs, shaking them and then putting them back on the ground.

So we are finally done with this house. Project Home renovation

If you haven't already heard we moved to Arizona for Cason's school and bought a house. Yay. What you might not have heard is that we bought a house that needs a little, should we say, TLC.

We got the keys Tues afternoon and imediatly started working. We took the shop vac in and sucked up all the loose dirt, blinds, corners, carpet corners, everything really. then we scrubbed the cabnits, walls, closets, removed doors and took off awful wall paper boarder in two rooms and a bathroom. (never under any circumstances put up wall paper!)

Day 2 started painting, trim, primer, walls, and scrubbed the cabnits again, finished Cales room and bathroom. measured for carpet.

Day 3 started painting the rest of the house. Water got turned off around 11:30am. our fault we forgot to get it switched to our name. So they couldn't turn it on until the next day, so we went shopping. Got refridgerator, lights, garage door openers, chair rail and some other little things. came home took a 3 hour nap. Now getting Cason ready for orientation tomarrow. Tomarrow I am suposed to scrub the grout and clean all the tile.

If there is anything I have learned from this, so far, three day experiance it's

1. some projects are fun (and I and actually enjoying this stessful process.)
2. I will NEVER paint a whole house again. (maybe a room or a bathroom. maybe)
3. I will NEVER own a dog or another cat ( I have seen enough animal hair to last me a lifetime.)

Cales First Christmas

So Cales first Christmas was deffiatly not dull. We drove to AZ on the 22nd and he had a runny nose but we didn't think anything of it. The next two days he got sicker and sicker. Like throwing up coughing weezing and more snott. So we called his doctor to see what she thought and they said to wait it out. I thought so. So we stopped giving him formula or anything with milk in it. After day 6 we took him to quick care and the doctor there said we could give him a LITTLE triamidic to help with his cough so he could sleep he hadn't slept for more that an hour at a time and was exhausted. So we did. That night was hell he didn't sleep at all and neither did we. Then I thought lets not give him any medicine and see how that goes. and it went great. I think he is doing a lot better and he took two great naps yesterday and slept pretty good last night.

Other than that our Christmas was awsome we got everything we wanted and more. It was so fun to see Cale play with all his new toys and slide down his new slide. He is pretty good at doing it all by himself. So smart.

I actually don't have any pics of christmas because I was tired and Cale was crying most of the day, but cason took a lot of video so I don't feel like such a slacker parent.

Cason and I are packing up and moving to Arizona for law school. Yay I am so excited to start this new chapter in our lives. I will miss vegas a little (mostly the people)

I am a little bumed thought because I thought we might move somewhere and escape the heat but I guess not.

So this past weekend we were in Kanab and Cason's cousin got a deer so we went up to see it and the boys (cason and Cru) got to help skin it. I would post pics but I don't think you all would like to see them.

My mom came down for a visit a couple of weeks ago and we took Cale to the Gilcrease Orchards to find a pumpkin. When we got there we couldn't find one "normal" looking pumpkin so we settled for a yellowish green one and a withered one. It was also like 80 something degrees out too. Despite the warm weather and the fact that we left with like an inch of dirt all over us we had a good time.

I was in the kitchen yesterday and Cale was watching his baby einstein movie. When I looked up there he was on top of the coffee table. I originally put that table in front of the table to keep him from getting at the TV but I guess I’ll have to think of something else. I also got the cover for his big car seat in the mail and I am so excited about it. Cale looks so big in his new car I can’t believe it.

Cason had a birthday on sunday and turned 26. I can't belive how "old" he is. Cason has practically been celebrating his birthday all month and so I think he had a good one. He got some new golf stuff and his car painted. Big green looks so spiffy.

Yes, Yes yesterday was my 24th Birthday and Cru thought I was only turning 22, you should have seen the look on his face when I told him I was 24. ( a wow your old look) All in all it was a good day I got to spend time with my family over labor day weekend and Cason's parents made my favorite dinner last night then Cason and I are going out alone tonight.

I got lots of fun presents, brighton jewlery, a kathy bag, jeans, new pots and pans, a cast iron pot, and one of my favs a kanab shirt. Look out cane county here I come.

My first birthday with Cale was deffinatly the best. He helped me blow out my candles and gave me kisses all day. It was great.

By the way if anyone needs anything cooked let me know. I love cooking with my new pans. :)

I got a new beautiful huge food processor for Christmas last year and I am sad to admitt I haven't really used it. I busted it out a couple weeks ago to make Cale some baby food, and I have fallen in love with it. I pull it out to make pesto sauce, bruchetta, chicken bundle mix, pretzle dough, baby food. I have only just discovered its posabilities.

This last week has been so fun for us. Cason and I got to spend a little alone time in Scottsdale while my parents kept Cale. We slept in (untill 8:00am ) ate out, layed out, read, and went shopping. It was a blast.

Cale also had a good week. He is crawlig all over the place and pulling himself up on the furniture. He also said Da Da last night to cason in the pool. It was so cute.

He still isn't sleeping through the night yet so I am bumbed about that, but he is just growing and learning so fast.

Kanab weekend

This past weekend we went to Kanab Utah with my brother in law and his family. We had a lot of fun with the horses, and just getting out of the heat. Cale really enjoyed himself as well.

I haven't had posted any pics for a while so I will try to catch up but here are a couple pics from the ourth of july. We went up to Kanab utah for the weekend watched the parade in the morning, had a big family lunch, and went to the fireworks in the park. It was so nice to actually be somewere where it was cool enough to walk around and enjot the outside.

I thought Cale might get scared of the fireworks but he loved them. They were a little loud though I had to cover his ears :)

Baby Questions

Okay so I have a really great baby. He is happy and a pretty good sleeper, but how old are they usually when they start sleeping like 8-10hrs. Right now I he takes a bottle and falls asleep while I rock him but when do you put them in their cribs and let them fall asleep on their own. Also how do you get them on a sleep schedule? Cale just sleeps when hes tired it is a little different everyday.

I am not too worried about it now but I don't want him to get used to having a bottle when he goes to bed and I also don't want him to get used to waking up at night and get in the habit of it.

Just wanted to post and say that we won't be posting for a while. Cason took his LSAT on monday and was SO happy to have it over with. we are both taking summer school now and juggling other projects and Cale so for the next couple months we probably won't be posting :(

Baby food time

This week Cale has started eating baby food. he eats rice cereal and so far he has eaten only peas. The doctor said to have him eat one food at a time for a couple days to see how hid tummy handles it and to make sure he is not allergic. He really likes his peas too, I was surprised.

He also can roll over now from tummy to back and back to tummy. GO CALE.
oh yea and if you can't tell from the pictures he drools a lot!

The last week

This week has been a lot of fun. Cale smiles so much now and is starting to really belly laugh. It is SO cute. The last couple of days his teeth have really been bothering him. He has been really drooly, and clingy, just not himself. Hopefully he will be felling better soon.

So every morning I wake up With Cale around 6:30-am, and every morning I think to myself, "I can't wait to get home from work so I can take a nap" (because Cale usually takes a 3-4 hour nap in the afternoons) and EVERY time I can't sleep. Even now at 10:20pm not tired, but I know I need to sleep. I just hate that.

Happy Aniversary

Our aniversary was actually on April 7th. Cason and I drove down to Scottsdale and stayed at the Hyatt resort. It was a blast we went swiming and ordered drinks by the pool.(i don't know why I justs love doing that) rented bikes, went shopping, ate fabulous food, and SLEEPT IN. Of corse I didn't take any pictures, at least I remebered my camera though, that is a big step for me. One of my new years resolutions was to take more pics and so far not so good.

Spring Break

SO this last week was Casons spring break and so we headed up to Arizona to relax and visit my parents. We had a lot of fun. we rode bikes flew kites, and ate out a lot. We also took Cale to my dads company party. It was at a park that had a few rides, a train, and paddle boats. Cale really enjoyed the train. ( it was the only thing he was awake for)

Cason also visited the law school down there and we both took a tour and really liked it.It was a fabulous spring break and it was nice to pawn Cale of a little bit on my mom :)

SLEEP!

So last night was a very important night for me. It was the first night since January I actually got 8hrs of uninterupted sleep. Yes it is true Cale actually slept form 10pm -6am with out waking up. I woke up to Cason's alarm ran to make sure he was ok and he was, just sleeping like a baby :) hopefully he will do it again sometime soon :)

So we have been busy lately just trying to get organized and trying to get a routine down. So far so good I think we are getting the hang of things. Last night Cale slept from 11:00 - 5:00am it was a miracle!! He is doing really well. Growing like crazy. He is starting to smile and make funny faces. He also is watching the baby einstein movies. Well not really he kinda watches them for like 10min and then he is done, but he is more awake now.

Cason is doing the school thing. He and Cale are so funny together.

I went back to work today :( It was hard to leave Cale behind, but it was nice to have a break and talk to people my own age. Being stuck in the house most of the day gets me a little crazy. well here are some pics. I need to get a family pic soon.

The last couple weeks

The last couple of weeks have been BUSY BUSY but fun. My brother and sister in law came in town with there cute little boy. We have been having so much fun playing and hanging out with them. Last weekend I had my baby shower. I am waiting to get the pictures from a friend becasue i forgot my camera. ( i know, not smart)The shower was really fun. we played games, ate lots of food, and opened lots of fun gifts.

My mom and sister came in to town with one of their friends from Arizona and so we did they Vegas thing last weekend. We saw the Belagio flowers, went shopping, went out to dinner a lot, shopped some more and walked everywere. It was a fun weekend and has been a fun couple of weeks.

Now i have a lot to do before this baby comes. lots of organizing and probably some more shopping.

Thanksgiving

Cason and I just got back from AZ on Sunday. We had so much fun, my brother and his wife were there too. It was great to have everyone together. Friday we shopped ALL day literally from like 5:00 am- 8:00 p.m.. My feet were so tired and I crashed as soon as we got home. We also went to see Four Christmases. I thought it was really funny. Then we went to look at Christmas lights in Glendale. They block off a street corner and they have like a petting zoo, little shops and booths I real good time.

Its always sad to come home and get back to normal again.

ok so i complained about my feet getting swollen and now I am going to whine about one more thing. Besides the fact that my body is growing so rapidly and i am having a hard time remembering what it used to look like my knees and hips are SO SORE.I think is from the extra weight, but now I know what people are talking about when they say you are SO READY for the baby to come out towards the end. I am READY now. I just feel like a streched out slug.I know its worth it though. I need to complain for a minute and give Cason a break.

Weekend in Arizona

This past weekend Cason and I went to Arizona to visit my family and Cason went to play in a disc golf tournament.
We had so much fun. we went shopping, ate at a really good hamburger place called Joes in Gilbert Az I think it is on my top 5 hamburger place list. Number one being 5 guys of corse. Then we went to Schnepf Farms. Schnepf Farms is a farm (obviously) but the turn it into a huge pumkin patch carnival place with a corn maze, rides, and junk food. SO FUN. We had a blast. I couldn't ride any of the rides but it was fun to stand in line with my mom for my sister and cousin so they could go from ride to ride.

Cason also took fist place in the tournament he played in. WOO HOO!! GOOD JOB CASON!! He got a huge trophy and everything. I am so proud. It was a fun weekend. Its fun to get away even for a couple days.

So after I posted about the bike ride Cason informed me that I have my information wrong. On Saturday they drove to the North Rim and rode around. Not the whole way. Then on Sunday they did a ride in Zion and that is what one of the pictures is of.

So as many of you know my brother got married this last week and we spent the week in Salt Lake. The wedding was beautiful and went better than planned. I don't have any pics from the actual wedding yet but i do have pics of one of Cason's favorite part of the wedding his outfit. Our family is very scottish and Irish so the boys wore kilts. They looked very cute.

Quick Update

So I know I haven't posted in like forever. so here is a quick update on what we have been doing.

I had a birthday on sep 9th. It was a good day we went out to triple george for dinner and opened presents. I got everything i wanted. new bedding from pottery barn, brighton jewlery, cute maternity clothes, baby stuff, pedicure and other fun things. Then the celebration continued when we had another big family dinner at the Leavitt's with more presents woo hoo!

Cason has been really busy having a birthday on the 20th of September. we went out to dinner and he opened his presents. Cason got a road bike and a bass pro shop gift card. lets just say he was like a kid in a candy store. he has also been studing SO hard for the LSAT which he took on Oct 4th.

The baby is good. moving around and growing like crazy but he has all his parts and he is a healthy weight and everything couldn't be going better. Another fun fact is my sister inlaw kimi is having a boy too and she is due early Feb so we will have two cousins a month apart so fun.
